RESTAURANT REVIEW - Tom's Best Pizza - "There are many choices but I have to lean to 'Mannie & Bo's Pizzeria' in Golden. You wont find this local eatery in Zagat's, Westword or Fodor's but it tops my list as the finest thin crust pizza in town. It reminds me of the kind of pizza I grew up with in Chicago. Just like Jimmy's Spaghetti House in Melrose Park, a Chicago Burb. The difference is the crust, it's crisp. Mannie & Bo cook their pizzas on metal screens. They also cook the pizza long enough (20-30 min) to be done right. Too many Denver pizzas are half-baked, you may not realize this until you have a fully baked pizza where the cheese takes on a deep golden brown appearance. They offer 22 topping ingredients and three sizes 10", 12", and 16".
